Eco-Sgolion / Eco Schools

Y Cyngor Eco / Eco Council

Rydym ni yng Nghoed y Gof am ofalu am ein byd a’r amgylchedd.  Gall bob un ohonom wneud newid mawr trwy wneud rhai newidiadau bach, megis:

• diffodd goleuadau;
• diffodd tapiau dŵr;
• diffodd cyfrifiaduron;
• cau drysau mewn tywydd oer;
• casglu sbwriel;
• arbed, ail-ddefnyddio ac ail-gylchu deunyddiau (e.e. papur, plastig, dillad, cetris);
• tyfu llysiau a ffrwythau.

Gwnawn hyn oll i sicrhau dyfodol gwell i ni, ein byd a phlant y dyfodol.

 

We at Coed y Gof care for our world and the environment.  Each one of us can make a big difference by making some small changes, for instance:

• switching off lights;
• turning off taps:
• switching off computers;
• closing doors in cold weather;
• litter-picking;
• reduce, re-use and recycle materials (e.g. paper, plastic, clothes, cartridges);
• grow fruits and vegetables.

We do all this to secure a better future for us, our world and the children of the future.

Rydym yn hapus iawn i gyhoeddi ein bod wedi ethol ein Cyngor Eco ar gyfer y flwyddyn academaidd i ddod!

We are happy to announce that we have elected our Eco Council for the academic year ahead!

 

Tymor y Gwanwyn / Spring Term

Roedd yna glwb Eco ar ôl ysgol pob dydd Mercher ar gyfer plant yr adran iau.  Roeddwn ni wedi plannu hadau, ymchwilio cwestiynau ar gyfer ein trip i Barc Bute a thrafod systemau gwahanol o ailgylchu. Hefyd wnaethom greu posteri ar gyfer gwerthu siocled yn ystod pythefnos masnach deg. 

During the spring term we held an Eco Club after school every Wednesday.  We planted seeds, researched the upcoming Bute Bark trip including questions to ask on the trip, and discussed different recycling systems. We also painted posters to advertise the chocolate we sold during fairtrade fortnight.

 

Chwefror / February 2018

Aethom ar drip i Barc Bute i ddysgu am natur a'r coed yn ein dinas. 

We went on a trip to Bute Park to learn about nature and the trees of our city parks.

 

Chwefror-Mawrth / February-March 2018

Gwerthon ni siocled masnach deg i gefnogi masnach deg, codi ymwybyddiaeth o'r achos ac i godi arian i'r CRhA. 

We sold fairtrade chocolate to support and raise awareness of fairtrade issues and to raise funds for the PTA.

 

Mawrth / March 2018

Daeth Dwr Cymru mewn i'r ysgol i gynnal gweithdai ar dwr a'r amgylchedd.

Welsh Water paid us a visit and we had the opportunity to learn about water and the environment.

 

Tymor yr Haf / Summer Term

Ar ddechrau'r tymor mi fyddwn ni'n casglu sbwriel o'r cae ac ymyl y goedwig i baratoi am dymor o chwarae a gemau ar y cae.  

At the beginning of term we will we conducting lunchtime litter picks on the field and the edge of the forest to prepare the area for a term of play and games.
