Year 6 - Masarnen

Teacher - Mrs Jones

Welcome to Dosbarth Masarnen, Year 6 and the final year for our pupils at Coed y Gof. They have a very busy and exciting year ahead of them.

I (Mrs Jones) will be in the class on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning, and Mr Edwards will be teaching the class for the rest of the week. Mr Johnson will also be with us throughout the week.

PE lessons

• Wednesday – indoors
• Thursday – Outdoors

We kindly ask that pupils wear a white top, black bottoms, and suitable footwear on these days.

This year, there will be a strong focus on improving pupils Welsh language skills, reading and mathematical strategies. We will be focusing on these areas daily and kindly ask for your support in practising them at home as well.

This term, we will be exploring historical events, studying different periods and events from the past and examining the impact they have had on our lives today. We will compare how religion, traditions, inventions, communities, and education have changed over the years and consider what the future might look like.
