Yr Enfys

Dosbarth Yr Enfys at Ysgol Coed y Gof is a small, nurturing provision for our youngest pupils, offering a calm and supportive environment.

Key features of Dosbarth Yr Enfys:

  • Focus on developing play skills, social interaction and emotional literacy

  • Pupils attend morning, afternoon or full-day sessions depending on their needs

  • A maximum of 10 pupils per session

  • All pupils have an Individual Development Plan (IDP)

  • Ongoing support from 2 members of staff

Learning and development:

  • A strong focus on literacy and numeracy during the morning

  • Individual programmes of work tailored to each pupil’s needs

The aim of Dosbarth Yr Enfys is to support pupils in developing confidence, core skills and readiness for future learning.
